Paediatrician Appointments
A valid referral is required to be eligible for a Medicare rebate for all Paediatrician appointments. In most cases our practice can submit a claim to Medicare at the time of your appointment, in some cases you will need to submit your claim directly to Medicare. GP referrals are valid for 12 months only, please ensure your referral is valid prior to your appointment to avoid being charged private fees (no rebate). Accounts must be settled in full on the day of consultation via EFTPOS or Credit Card or Cash.

Cognitive Assessment $1,500
A Cognitive Assessment will assess a child’s cognitive profile, learning strengths, and areas of difficulty that may be impacting learning abilities or contributing to concerns at school. This assessment will provide insight into how your child learns and processes information to help you and school better support the individual. A cognitive assessment including a WISC-V assessment, parent interviews, school reports, and other questionnaires can identify where ADHD may indicated. Patrick cannot prescribe medication for ADHD.
Comprehensive Assessment $1,950
A Comprehensive Assessment includes all components of the Cognitive Assessment, with the addition of academic testing. Conducted over two days, this assessment can provide a diagnosis of specialised learning disorders (SLD), previously known as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia etc. A comprehensive assessment may be indicated where learning concerns are attributed to by a phonological processing deficit.
*Please note all psychology appointments are full fee paying no rebate provided. You may submit your claim to Private Health depending on insurer and cover level, we do not submit claims and cannot guarantee any subsidy.
